''This page describes the design associated with the concept of a container.'' When drawing the diagram at a certain level, only the contained elements are displayed. This includes the clones of the dependencies and deliverables of the container. This means that a ''list'' is required of all the tasks and deliverables inside the current container. To specify in which container an element (task or deliverable) is placed, is to add a ContainerId field. This makes it very easy to query the database to generate a proper list of elements to display. Also, when the container is deleted, the database can automatically delete the contained elements. As was described in [[Task management method|"Task management method"]], a task is drawn differently when it is a container. The easiest way of doing this is to add a IsContainer field to the task. This field will hold the result of a query to determine whether there are elements with the ContainerId equal to that of the task. However, when a element is added or deleted from the container, this field must be manually updated. ---- * [[Design overview]]
